On the outer edge of the Omega System, a strange and gargantuan planet is found.

Asc-II is a mysterious world coated in a swirling gaseous mass. Thought to be home to the Ascendii , no-one has yet successfully visited and returned from Asc-II, and so there is little known about it.

Asc-II is ringed by an enormous disk of matter. This is a combination of ice chunks, meteors and debris left over from the Sister Planets Project. As Asc-II passes close to the Sister Planets once every few loops, it pulls loose debris to it in a raw display of gravitational power.

Asc-II is also accompanied by the enigmatic Glow Moons, lunar objects which somehow orbit the enormous planet in a perpendicular motion.

These moons are of huge import to Luma Systemica , to whom their study is a key component in resolving the riddle of Omega’s plan.

Orbiting the second Glow Moon, Phospho, is another, smaller moon. This small moon is named The Sling due to its incredible orbit, whereby the perpendicular rotation of Phospho around Asc-II causes extreme relative motion.

The Sling whips around Phospho every few cycles, drawn by the enormous pull of Asc-II. Theoretically, this might one day provide Voxo ships with a launch window to “sling” them far into space.

It is through this process that Polarion intend to one day reach and explore The Nebula, as well as make exploratory journeys out into the deeper cosmos.
